Resiliecy, Keynote Speaker Teenage years are tough! Social media, peer pressure, relationships and uncertainty about future endeavors all attribute to challenging teen times. In an effort to help students navigate these years, we will be hosting our 2nd Simon Youth Foundation Academies Conference. The Simon Youth Foundation (SYF) Academy at Hickory Hollow, Opry Mills and Old Cockrill will come together for a 1-day, fun-filled interactive conference covering the following topics: Depression/Anxiety, Time Management, Body Image, Healthy Relationships & More! The inaugural conference in the fall of 2019 was so phenomenal that our academies were included in NBC’s Nightly News with Lester Holt Justice For All Series. Guest speakers consisted of authors, motivational speakers, and activists who inspired and empowered students. Our goal is to make sure that the spring 2020 conference exceeds student’s expectations and changes lives in unimaginable ways.
